This multimeter is cheap enough and small enough you could toss one in the glove compartment of every car you own. This is pretty cheaply made, so there's no auto-ranging, and you'll want to keep in mind that the readings may not be spot-on - we've seen it be off by as much as 5%. But hey, it's a lot better than checking for voltage with your tongue, and in a pinch, there's a lot of problems you can troubleshoot with one of these little critters. Consider this the electrical equivalent of the cheap Chinese sockets that you toss in your junkyard tool bag.
Measures DC and AC voltage, DC current, resistance, and includes a transistor checker that can measure transistor hFE readings for both PNP and NPN types. Batteries included. |
