Trigger Wheels

DIYAutoTune.com offers a selection of precision-engineered 36-1 trigger wheels designed specifically for use with MegaSquirt ECUs. These trigger wheels are laser cut from durable 11 gauge (1/8″) steel, ensuring both strength and accuracy. They are compatible with MegaSquirt-I using the MSnS-E code and MegaSquirt-II with either the standard or MS2/Extra code.

Our 36-1 trigger wheels are versatile and can be used with various crankshaft position sensors, including GM and Ford-style VR sensors. For MegaSquirt V3.0 and higher boards, the sensor output can be read directly. MegaSquirt V2.2 boards, however, will require a Ford EDIS external module or an added VR conditioner circuit for proper functionality.

To ensure optimal fitment, use the included spacers to position the trigger wheel in front of dish-type pulleys. The trigger wheels and spacers are provided in unpainted steel, allowing you to paint or powder coat them to match your engine’s appearance.
