15 years ago, I founded DIYAutoTune.com by merging a passion for technology (I was an IT guy) with a passion for racing (I was/am a car junkie). I had $1200, a spare bedroom, and an idea.
It has been a blessing of an opportunity and quite a ride. DIYAutoTune has grown and evolved beyond what I would have imagined, and I can’t thank you enough for helping to make that happen.
We are now challenged with something unique. I want to assure you as our valued customers that we are here for you. We have taken all measures as directed by CDC and governmental officials for the protection of our staff. Our headquarters, located in Gainesville, GA, is open for business and operational, and we are continuing to manufacture American Made Performance products for you and to ship them every day.
Our technical support team has transitioned to working remotely. The team is equipped to help you with any pre-sale questions or post sale support needs you have, and they will be expanding their hours to ensure you get the fast, professional help you deserve. It’s funny… with the reduced distraction and increased focus JUST on emails and phone calls, we’re able to respond even faster than usual.
Production and order processing staff were given the option to work, or to discuss with us their need to change their schedule or even to not work for a time if they needed. Nearly all of them have chosen to work. They nearly all had childcare worked out even with the kids home from school for a time. These are people that love and depend on their jobs. 20 families.

These ECUs are assembled 100% in the USA, mostly in Gainesville, GA, using parts responsibly sourced by other American companies in every case possible, even though it often costs us more to do so. While much of the world has been shipping their manufacturing overseas and maximizing profits for years now, we’ve been fighting, even when it hurts, to make everything possible right here in the USA. Our PCBs are manufactured by companies in Elk Grove Village, IL. PCB assembly is then done in Suwanee, GA, Norcross, GA, and Gainesville, GA. Our enclosures are manufactured by companies in Duluth, MN, Cheektowaga, NY, and Covington, GA. Our tuning software is written out of Mooresville, NC.

I believe a lot of our growth and success has been due to the fact that we have been able to make personal connections with many of you, as through the years we have done everything possible to deliver high quality yet affordable American made product. I’ve got many customers that are true friends at this point, and business partners that similarly have grown to be friends as well.
