AMP EFI offers complete turn-key plug and play transmission controllers for GM / Chevy transmissions. Currently, we offer programmable 4L60E transmission controller and 4L80E transmission controller packages. You can also use a standard MicroSquirt ECU package and load it with transmission control firmware to control other transmissions, such as the Ford 4R70W and 4R100W. Converting the MicroSquirt from an engine controller to a transmission controller is just a matter of downloading free TCU firmware and using a laptop to load firmware to the MicroSquirt.

The software you will use to configure your trans controller and tune shift points is TunerStudio. You can download this from TunerStudio.com. See this video for how to set up a project and connect it to your MicroSquirt TCU.
