The JimStim CPU is not easy to test separately from the JimStim, but if the 3.3 volt supply is putting out the correct voltage, it should be safe to install a new processor. The most common cause I've seen of damaging the processor is if the JimStim is switched on while placed on a metal surface.

Наиболее распространенной причиной, по которой я видел повреждение процессора, является то, что JimStim включен, когда он помещен на металлическую поверхность.
DIYAutoTune Part# JimStim-C JimStim is essentially an engine simulator, a microcontroller which allows the generates up to 30 different toothed wheel signals, in addition to the standard distributor signal. Test your RPM input on the Stim, or tell the ...
Add to cartThe regular JimStim can test the main board on your MS3. But what if you'd like to see the inputs and outputs on the MS3X expansion card in action, too? Now it's easy - just add a JimStimX! Use the three pull-off jumpers on the JimStim to connect the 5 vo...
Add to cartUse this board to test the MegaSquirt's inputs and outputs on the bench, before you install it on a car! The JimStim features a microcontroller which allows the simulation of up to 30 different toothed wheels, in addition to the standard distributor s...
Add to cartNeed to crimp your Weather Pack connectors to heavier gauge wire? This one will crimp 10 and 12 gauge. Like our other tool, this is a quality, American made crimper. It doesn't have the holding block like on the smaller tool however, and it needs two sepa...
Add to cartThe classic 555 timer integrated circuit, in an 8 pin DIP package. This little chip has plenty of uses. In the MegaSquirt lineup, the older Stim boards used it to generate an RPM signal, and the DIYPNP uses it in its knock circuit. See the MS1/Extra manua...
