Shipping policy

Same-Day Shipping: 

DIYAutoTune.com ships all in-stock orders placed by 12pm EST on the same business day. If an item is out of stock, you will be notified during checkout. We strive to keep all items in stock and aim to ship them the same day.

International Shipping: 

We ship globally via USPS Mail, and upon request, via UPS/FedEx. Note that UPS/FedEx shipping generally costs 2-2.5x more than USPS Express. We will contact you about any additional costs if you choose UPS/FedEx.

Reducing Declared Value: 

We cannot misrepresent the value of shipments to reduce customs duties. We understand the high costs of customs taxes but must adhere to honest practices. Thank you for understanding.

Shipping Insurance: 

Shipping insurance is available during checkout for $1.30 per $100. We recommend purchasing insurance. If you opt out, you accept responsibility for lost packages. We cannot guarantee uninsured shipments.

Signature Requirement:

Priority mail shipments generally do not require a signature. However, if shipping to an apartment, we may require a signature to ensure safe delivery. Express Mail shipments always require a signature unless otherwise requested.

Cheaper International Shipping Methods

We offer cheaper international shipping options upon request:

  • First Class International (3lbs or lighter, max $200 value)
  • Priority Mail International (weight and value limits vary by country)

These options have higher risks: no tracking, insurance, or guarantees. You must acknowledge and accept these risks to choose these methods.

Shipping Responsibility Disclaimer

Once your package has been shipped, DIYAutoTune.com is not responsible for:

  • Delivery Issues: We cannot guarantee delivery times or address changes once the package is in transit.
  • Address Changes: Any changes to the delivery address must be addressed directly with the carrier. We are unable to modify the delivery address once the package has been shipped.
  • Lost or Stolen Packages: We are not liable for packages lost, stolen, or damaged after they have been handed over to the shipping carrier. If you have purchased shipping insurance, please contact us directly to file a claim.

Sales Tax:

Orders within Georgia are subject to a 7% sales tax. We do not collect sales tax on orders to other states or internationally. International orders may be subject to local tariffs or taxes.
