Logic-Level Spark Outputs

The EVO+ model is optimized for use with external ignition modules or “smart coils” equipped with built-in igniters, such as our IGN1A Smart Coils. It provides a logic-level 0-5V signal, offering precise control without generating high heat. This setup is ideal for applications where the coils or ignition components include an integrated ignition driver, such as GM LS, Toyota 1ZZ, VAG COP, etc. It ensures efficient operation without requiring additional heat management.

My race car is already wired for EVO or ULTIMATE. Can I upgrade to EVO+ or EVO+ HC?

Yes, you can upgrade! The pinout is the same between the EVO & the EVO+/EVO+ HC, but the EVO+ and EVO+ HC include a center harness that the EVO does not have. Please note that the pinout for the EVO+/EVO+ HC center harness differs from that of the Ultimate, so repinning will be necessary.

How big is the ECU?

  • The MS3-Pro measures approximately 8.5″ long (including the mounting ears), 4-5/8″ wide, and 2.5″ tall including the mating connectors. Not including the connectors, the case itself is 1.5″ high.

What is the warranty on the MS3Pro EVO+?

  • It carries a one year warranty against manufacturing defects.

How watertight is the box?

  • The case uses an o-ring seal and sealed connectors to ensure it is completely splashproof, and will keep water out if completely immersed up to a few inches for a few  minutes (which normally shouldn’t happen, right?).  If you need further water submersion resistance that can be accomplished with a small bead of silicone just inside/outside of the o-ring.

    The standard 8 GB card can hold several days of continuous running, even at maximum recording speed. Maximum card size is 32 GB.

    We currently do not have drive by wire support; you'll want to use a cable operated throttle body.

    Yes, it can run them in wasted spark using three QuadSpark external ignition modules.
