    Just installed this in a Lexus SC400 manual transmission. It bolted up like stock, and the install was very easy. I spent more time installing the wideband then the megasquirt! I made a MSQ for the 1UZ and it fired up on the first try! Superb product, and even better customer service from Matt Cramer, who answered any questions I had setting up my basemap.

Where is this product assembled?

  • This product is assembled in Gainesville, Georgia, USA

Does this include everything I need to tune my car?

  • It is intended to be a complete package. However, you may wish to add a wideband O2 sensor system, particularly if you are tuning the fuel yourself.

Does the MSPNP Pro have a RS232 connection?

  • This MSPNP only uses USB.

Does it support VVTi motors?

  • The MSPNP Pro has the inputs and outputs for VVTi, but it does not plug into a VVTi harness and you may need to add resistors to the wiring to get a clean signal from the VVTi crank sensor. Additionally, most VVTi motors are drive by wire and will need a cable operated throttle conversion.

    The ECU does not plug into a VVTi harness, but it does have the support in software for VVTi.

    It will work on variants that used the 120 pin connector and a manual transmission. Reliable JDM wiring diagrams can be tricky to find, so please check your harness before ordering.

    Certainly. This will work with any manual transmission, and we've also had it used with all-mechanical automatic transmissions like a GM TH400. The only transmission limitation is that it does not have in the box support for computer controlled automatics.
