A package deal based on our Chevy Nova carb to EFI conversion, using the latest MegaSquirt-II. Works for a wide variety of conversions and has the electronics to help wire up a car that was never set up for EFI. The assembled units are built so they can work with either a fuel-only conversion (using the stock distributor to control timing) or to take control over a GM HEI seven or eight pin ignition. The kits can be built for either one or for other ignitions as well such as MSD distributors. With a 2.5 bar MAP sensor as standard equipment, these can be used on either naturally aspirated motors or forced induction cars running up to 21 psi of boost. These packages are built around our relay board, which provides the Megasquirt with its own dedicated fuse box and relay module. Instead of our 12' universal harness, this uses a different wiring setup specifically for the relay board.
Here's a quick rundown on the package types and what you can expect:
- PC1 Fully Assembled. Harness Unterminated. All items you would need as a first time installer, includes a stimulator and USB Adaptor
- PC2 Fully Assembled. Harness Unterminated. All items you would need as a repeat installer, no stim or USB Adaptor included. (cheaper)
- PK1 UnAssembled DIY Kits. All items you would need as a first time DIYer, includes a stimulator, lead bending tool, and USB Adaptor
- PK2 UnAssembled DIY Kits. All items you would need as a repeat DIYer. Does not include a stimulator, lead bending tool, or USB Adaptor. (cheaper)
There are a couple small items we used on the Nova that are not included such as wire ties, fuses, split loom covering, and a couple bits of heavy gauge wiring. We carry many of the items you'll need for converting your fuel system, as well:
